Items
- Items can be created and managed with the help from user defined item number templates for specific structured item numbers.
- The item’s source can be set as either purchased, manufactured, sub-contracted or non-stocked.
- Items may be indicated as serialised, batch controlled or neither.
- Detailed classifications of each item, such as commodity, item class and the base unit of measure (including conversion ratios between multiple units of measure) can be managed from one form.
- Indicate per unit of measure per item whether purchasing and selling is allowed, and whether specified quantity multiples are required.
- Multiple barcodes can be linked to an item.
- Customer and Supplier Item Numbers can be referenced per item number.
- Optionally indicate that items are exclusive to specified suppliers and/or customers.
- Where applicable, item revisions can be used.
- Maintain the standard costs and the sales prices and also get an overview of all the relevant price catalogues.
- Perform various enquiries on current stock, stock allocations, work in progress (WIP), active orders and warranty expiry dates.
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and stock reordering can automatically suggest purchase and manufacturing order quantities based on supply and demand and the replenishment settings for each item.
- Indicate the ABC classification of an item, and update the ABC classification based on stock usage.
- Maintain specific or generic substitution rules per item.
Warehouses
- Unlimited number of warehouses can be individually configured with optional or required rules and make use of predefined and/or dynamic bin locations.
- Bin locations can have set rules, such as to participate in automatic stock allocations.
- Items can be linked to warehouses and or bin locations as required.
- Custom Warehouse Bin Location and Item Labels are generated and printed from the system.
Stock Transactions
- tock age, quantity on hand and value of stock are always available in real-time.
- Stock valuation methods include actual costing and average costing.
- Use integrated barcode scanning and/or radio frequency scanning devices to capture stock transactions in real-time.
- All stock transactions are seamlessly integrated into the general ledger in real-time.
- Use stock precedence policies including FIFO, LIFO or bin alphabetical.
Stock Count
- Create full counts or cycle counts using the stock count system, which can be completed manually, via mobile scanning devices for real-time counts or by uploading from a spreadsheet.
- Full audit trails of each count event and subsequent adjustments are visible from this system.
Customer and Supplier owned Stock
- Manage stock owned by customers and suppliers and have the ability to use them as stock in different stock transactions.
- Manage stock in specified consignment warehouses.
Non-Conformance Reports
- Create non-conformance groups and types.
- Create non-conformance reports specific to a business unit, work centre and warehouse.
- Specify the type of non-conformance, the item number, serial number, quantity and total cost of a non-conformance.
- Link persons, customer and supplier responsible or involved with the non-conformance.
- Update the status and details of a non-conformance.
- Add a thorough description, a corrective, immediate and preventative action and the root cause for the non-conformance.
- Set up concessions for specific non-conformance items.
- Create an enquiry to view non-conformances, concessions and corrective-actions within specified periods and of certain statuses.
Stock Transfers
- Conduct internal stock transfers between different warehouses
- Bulk transfers can be done per warehouse
- Automatically initiate a stock transfer to a specific warehouse or bin location, when entering manufactured stock into the system either manually or via a scanner.
Transfer between sites
- Transfer and receive stock between sites using a Warehouse Transfer Requisition.
- Retain visibility of in-transit stock.
Tracking Units
- Optionally use tracking units to manage contained stock.
- Tracking unit types are user-defined, for example, Pallets and Crates.
External Tracking
- Track location and history of serial and batch numbers at client sites.
